There are a lot of body acne home remedies that people use to clear their body acne.
You should know that the results greatly vary between different people, and that none of these body acne remedies work consistently to treat acne.
You can try some of these remedies, however you stand a much better chance of treating your body acne effectively if you use proven body acne remedies.

Here are the most commonly used body acne home remedies that may work for you to some degree. Note that if your skin is almost clear, which means you only have a whitehead or blackhead here and there, these home remedies for body acne might actually be enough.
These home remedies for body acne are no magic solution and your pimples will NOT disappear overnight, but you might get results if you use them on a daily basis and during a few weeks.
- Baking soda: rub baking soda over your chest or back or wherever you have body acne. Do this in small circular motion for about 2 minutes. Leave it for about 20 minutes, without moving, so that the mask won’t crack and flake off. Rinse off with warm water. Then you can splash cold water to help close the pores, and pat dry. Baking soda can cause discomfort (a burning sensation), dryness and redness, so make sure you apply a moisturizer or aloe vera gel after the baking soda mask, especially if you have sensitive skin.
- Egg white mask: you can put some egg white on your pimples and leave this mask on for about an hour.
- Lemon juice: this body acne home remedy is for people who do not have sensitive skin. It burns and itches a lot when applied. You can apply fresh lemon juice on your pimples and leave for about 10 minutes before rinsing off with water.
- Aspirin mask: prepare a mask with aspirin, Witch Hazel, and add a squirt of honey to it. The honey will prevent the mask from snowing all over you. Leave the mask for about 20 minutes and rinse off. You can repeat the process twice a day.
- Honey mask: you can apply a small layer of natural honey as a mask and leave it on for as long as you want and then rinse off. You should know that it is sticky and messy, but should reduce redness and inflammation pretty well.
- Vinegar: this is a very simple body acne home remedy. It smells and stings if it gets in open wounds, though. You can use apple cider vinegar as a rinse after your shower. Vinegar works by making your skin acidic, and acne bacteria cannot live on it anymore. Like lemon juice, you should be careful if you have sensitive skin.
- Green tea: drink about 3 to 5 cups of regular green tea per day. This has worked very well for many people, probably thanks to the antioxidant properties of green tea. You can drink the tea and also apply it directly to your back or chest or wherever you have body acne.
- Tea tree oil: apply pure tea tree oil on your body acne. It has to be 100% tea tree oil for this to have a chance to work. Be cautious if your skin is sensitive.
- Toothpaste: this is one of the most popular body acne home remedies. You can rub some toothpaste on your pimples just before going to bed and wash it off when you wake up. This should reduce the size of your pimples.
Apart from body acne home remedies, another option is to use a body acne herbal treatment.
